Some aerial views of the Henry Ford Estate and Rouge River

The Henry Ford Estate Fair Lane, built in 1915, was the home of the namesake until his death in 1947. Located on the Rouge River in Dearborn the Frank Lloyd Wright designed house was surrounded by gardens designed by Jens Jensen. The property is under the operational umbrella of the Historic Ford Estates. The buildings are closed for restoration but the grounds are open weekdays.
